A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) with The Rotary Foundation has been established for Disaster Relief from Hurricane Florence.  The Fund will be directed by Local Rotarians in the Carolinas and surrounding States being affected.  More information on Donor Advised Funds can be found by clicking here

The District Nominating committee met on September 12, 2108 to interview Rick Tote from the Clarion Rotary Club.  Upon completion of the interview, the committee nominated Rick to be the District Governor for the Rotary year 2021-22.
 
Being that no other Nominations were received, per the District By-Laws there can be no challenge.
 
Therefore, I am happy to announce that Rick Tote has been chosen District Governor Nominee Designate (DGND) for District 7280.  Please join me in congratulating Rick and offering our support.

2018-2019 Rotary District Governor
District Governor Scott Bayline was recently invited to be a guest on "WE QUESTION & LEARN" radio show on WQLN hosted by Tom Pysz, a fellow Rotarian from the Rotary Club of Erie.  Scott shares his experiences of being a Rotarian along with the vision for our District and Rotary International.  
 
The interview was part of a one hour show.  The first thirty minute segment is of Linda Lyons of SafeNet Erie.  The second thirty minute segment is or our DG Scott.  To listen to his comments, Click here       
 
The District Grant Committee recently completed their approval of applications received for 2017-2018.  Congratulations to all the clubs that participated.

The District Fall Workshop and One Rotary Summit will be at the First Presbyterian Church in Sharon on Saturday, November 3, 2018.
 
The program will include presentations from the Ehlers Danlos Society, the Rotary Peace Center, the Rotary Foundation, along with information on how clubs can grow their membership and enhance their public image.
